This is the thing. I’m able to brush it off but others might not. It’s definitely wrong, ay? I’m not sure if I should contact the surgery about it or launch an official complaint. She obviously cares a lot as a doctor but has massively crossed boundaries here.

The thing is she's probably right. I'm sure if I brainwashed myself into thinking this was all some sort of divine plan I'd probably be right as rain.
In fairness she did also give me drugs which is the main reason I went.
Went to the GP because of severe depression and was told that finding God would really help and I should consider going to my local church. She also gave me a bookmark promoting her Christian self help book. Having a hard time gauging how affronted I am.
I love that and the London levels because there’s a very very low probability setting that they’ll just drop from the ceiling randomly and murder you
I hate the photo on my driving licence because not only does it look as if I definitely did commit the driving offence but that I thoroughly enjoyed it too.

I’ve played the PC version but I have a soft spot for the aesthetic quality of the 64 version and I prefer the slight changes to the soundtrack too. I really like how the soundtrack glitches out on Cageways and you get a random sound effect looping eerily in certain locations.
The physical game comes with a handy printed map showing all the soul gate and weapon locations. I love a printed map
Boggles the mind. Such a vast game
Like I know it’s objectively not the best game but it’s the one I have the deepest connection with. It really informed both my love of the macabre and electronic music.
It’s literally my all time favourite game. Surely I’ve ranted about it before?
One of the things I love about this game is the in game architecture. It’s largely set in a giant Victorian asylum in hell built by Jack the Ripper (I know) - there are nonsensical labyrinths of tight corridors that open out onto spaces so vast they trigger megalophobia. It’s so deeply unhinged.
Playing through Shadow Man again after finding that CD case the other day. Holy shit I love this game so much and it holds up imo. Clunky, repetitive combat but everything else is perfect. Especially the Geogaddi-esque score.

Found this cover I made out of N64 magazine cuttings for an imaginary Shadow Man soundtrack CD when I was about 13 and I have to say having the Acclaim logo visible through the spine was a nice touch.
