Aw, thank you so much! Check out my Hockey Romance comic that is nothing like Heated Rivalry (altho it does contain hockey & queerness)!

I'm one of many professors quoted in this report from Alice Speri. I really appreciate The Guardian taking an angle which has basically eluded every other major outlet.
People of color can be dolts as well.
This post is one of the many reasons I haven't written part 2 of my piece on Graham Platner. People are more interested in clinging to their beliefs than listening to someone who isn't a traditional journalist who isn't white but lives in Maine. I'm so tired of people outside of Maine.
Set the clocks forward one last time. Never again.
Wow yikes. Glad you are free of all that
Racing is better than expected. Donβt cancel the F1 season just yet.
Iβm mainly watching F1 this season to see if Aston Martin successfully kills one of their drivers
This might not be a competitive Formula 1 season, but it is going to be a very funny Formula 1 season.
Iβm not going to panic over one good game from the Canucks. I still believe in Adam Foote.
look anytime you can trade for a declining forward that half your fans will hate but your fredo owner wants to hang with him you take it
and when that contributes to the most disastrous season in the 56 year history of the team?
lol jokes on you heβs untradeable because every team is smarter
Yeah, I wasn't a Podkolzin fan, but the management of assets over the last 16 months has been terrible. Sherwood is pretty much the only success. All of their other signings were disasters.
They traded Podkolzin because he wasn't going to clear waivers and he wasn't in the plans. Maybe that was the Sherwood spot or maybe it was the Daniel Sprong spot.
There was no reason to add a legendarily toxic player to a group with a fragile leadership group. They should just waive him now.
No idea why the Canucks would keep Blueger after the Suter disasterclass of 2025. And I would love for them to just terminate Kane's contract. That trade really demonstrated everything wrong with the Allvin/Rutherford era. And even I thought they could get their 4th back.
Canucks have made "a couple of minor moves" I'm told.
Will know more soon.
ahh, I thought he was listed as a C. I've only seen him play in Abbotsford. He unfortunately just can't skate or shoot or pass. The rest of his game is strong.
the Canucks will do everything they can to avoid having to play Aatu RΓ€ty
Thatβs fair. But he did run a dedicated rebuild and put together enough talent to compete every year In the toughest division in the NHL
Do you trust Aquilini to hire someone committed to a long rebuild? Iβd love to have Shanahan come through the door, but Iβm afraid it would be another snake oil salesman. #Canucks
The Canucks should aim to be a playoff team in 2029-2030 and a Stanley Cup contender by 2032. If everything goes reasonably well.
We don't need a special report to tell us that the Democrats' Gaza policy hurt them badly in 2024. https://bit.ly/4b2u5IM
next year will be easier for everyone. the vets that stay will know what they are in for and there will be more focus on development with a better coach.

1/ What a whirlwind week visiting the Yukon and the Prairies!
We started in Whitehorse, where I met with Yukon NDP leader Kate White and caucus members. I toured the Northern Community Land Trustβs Project 1086. That night, over 80 people packed Lewis Hall to hear our vision for a renewed NDP.
Maybe. But feels like most of the international crowd is still on twitter.
Iβm obviously following the wrong accounts on here because the lack of any information or engagement with what is happening in Iran is pretty shocking. Maybe itβs just more focused on USian perspectives here and I need to find good feeds. Recs?
he just wants to drop a nuke before he leaves office
I disliked the Foote hire from the beginning, but I honestly don't think it matters too much. There's only 2 or 3 of these players that will actually still be there when the Canucks are back in the playoff hunt.
it bothers me less when there's an actual reason for losing. I'd rather have this than the annual false hope february/march.
Not me. I'll be glad to be done with this whole era of the Vancouver Canucks. And I will always wonder about the massive decline Pettersson took and the injuries Demko went through, and the failures to actually rebuild in the Benning era.
And yes, fire all of the management and replace the owner.
smart. he's not going to get his shot blocks on the powerplay.
Iβm not mad at Democrats; many have responded relatively appropriately and vigorously. I am mad, specifically, at Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries
