Had an amazing night at the #O2 watching the @thelumineersmusic.bsky.social, even managed to hear donβt look back in anger live despite missing out on Oasis tickets. Got stuck in to Thatchers Blood orange which is essentially alcoholic Fanta, but donβt feel to shabby this morning!
A lot of arguments for two divisions in test cricket. The big three need to suck it up and spread the wealth around the other test playing nations otherwise the lure of the franchise will be too much. Test cricket needs 6 or 7 teams that can beat each other regularly to retain interest globally
Definitely feels like weβre meandering to a slow decline. I hope the summer reset weβve been promised comes about. Iβm not sure that this board are interested in delivering it
you know, often as a journalist you get the accusation that "you've never kicked a ball in your life". untrue. statistically unlikely. this column is a love letter to football, the game i play badly, and ultimately all terrible things must come to an end

this by @edaarons.bsky.social is lovely www.theguardian.com/football/202...
That was pretty woeful. Complete overhaul needed in the summer
They might as well just agree before the game to give them a 4-0 and be done with it. We are showing no intention of doing anything
The irony of Americans electing a fascist because they were more concerned about getting lower grocery prices than saving democracy and then they end up losing democracy AND getting higher grocery prices π€¦π½ββοΈ

All I keep hearing is that Manchester United are the biggest club in the world. Surely Real Madrid would be considered bigger. Theyβve won half the European Cups of Liverpool. One more than Forest
There are certain players that transcend club loyalties and hold the publicβs affection throughout the game. Denis Law was one. Would be good to see minute silence or applause at every game this weekend.
Binning him off after 6 months raises serious questions over Steidtenβs judgment

The last striker who we signed as a striker that did anything was probably
Diafra Sakho and even then that was probably only for a season. Before that youβre probably going back to Carlton Cole, Dean Ashton and Craig Bellamy!
Sorry but the hot sauce pirinaise special broke me
Sam Matterface has made a career of stating the blooming obvious and he continues today with the astonishing statement that itβs rare for non league sides to beat top flight clubs.
Interesting to see Devine Mubama start for city. How useful would he be with our current striker predicament. #WHUFC #COYI
How do you train composure?
Can someone out there explain to me the difference between shower gel and body wash please?
Graham Potterβs task is to put human heart back in West Hamβs gormless machine | Jonathan Liew
It was coming, but stuffed up by a shit ref #whufc #coyi
It will have to go a long way to beat Steve Potts goal v Hull
Really solid first half with a lovely crafted goal created by Jimmy and finished by Paqueta. Our striker curse continues and itβs a shame as he was linking up well with others #WHUFC #COYI
Weβve broken another striker though
It obviously wasnβt working out with J Lo but the lack of class with the way it was handled says everything about the hierarchy at West Ham. No longer the club of Ron Greenwood and John Lyall anymore. #WHUFC #COYI
Paul Heaton in Hammersmith was immense
Keep thinking about knocking alcohol on the head, because it definitely doesnβt like me, but the fear of what it will do to my social life stops me
"I tried clubbing. Never again. But live music gigs and festivals were fantastic. No longer using those events as an opportunity to drink cider as quickly as a child with a carton of juice, I was focused instead on the friends around me."
