I've donated a couple carloads of stuff already. It's been good in that we have a BUNCH of stuff we don't need/want, and it's an opportunity to declutter everything.
...still have a monstrous hoard of crafting supplies, though. Can't be helped

I wasn't sure if it would be her style, but seeing as I still dress like a slightly edgy teen, it worked out ππ
I gave my excellent wardrobe of tall-skinny clothes to my niece, and she LOVES IT ALL. The purple pants fit her perfectly, and actually match the dyed ends of her hair perfectly. Couldn't be happier.
We're moving into New House on Tuesday, and on Thursday we're going to Kansas to visit the kids. This is great timing, and in no way overwhelming and stressful.
Hey did you live in the same place for 11+ years, you accumulate SO MUCH CRAP. JUST. SO MUCH.
I've been packing up my closet, and I have soooo many incredibly cool clothes in skinny-extra-tall sizes that I will never be able to wear again. My kidneys are so enlarged that my waist will never be that small. F in the chat for my favorite purple velvet pants.
A side view of a black platform sandal with pleated canvas upper and a basket weave texture on the platform sides.
A front view of a black platform sandal clearly showing the pleated canvas fabric straps that go over the toe and around the ankle.
I sadly must part with my pleated canvas, basket weave platform shoes. They're US women's size 10. They were perfect for a fem Kylo Ren cosplay, but I simply cannot wear them anymore with my arthritic feet.
Every life destroyed a universe and your brave men and women in uniform are stomping those universes underfoot so a corrupt reality tv president can get more bribes as the pistons stop firing in his brains and so his craven underlings can cash out on Polymarket. Youβre all going to hell together.
BREAKING: We're suing Kansas for a law that invalidates transgender people's updated driver's licenses and authorizes anyone to sue anyone they suspect of being trans for using the "wrong" bathroom.
On Tuesday I drank a canned coldbrew coffee drink that tasted approximately how a recently befouled public restroom smells, and I'm still thinking about how awful was
I will. They're very pleased with themselves π
I can't believe ππ
I haven't seen much of anything about it yet, but I'm hoping I can woo Marni away from the mayor and treat her RIGHT!!
I understand the instinct to donate to orgs that are helping trans folks flee red states but let's not forget about the orgs that are still fighting for trans folks in red states.
"small government"
A kitchen stove and countertop entirely covered in coffee mugs.
Jess: "Look out if you go in the kitchen. It's muggy in there."

Ughhhh why tho
Will definitely look, thank you!
This looks fantastic!
HONESTLY!!! It doesn't really have to be a character I like. I'm just like SHUT UP, NO ONE IS STRAIGHT!
I've been trying to convince myself to start drawing again, so I was looking for fashion photoshoot images for general references and being disappointed when I realized I was being stupid.
I shouldn't be using a general image search. I should be searching The Horny Website: Tumblr.
That feeling when you learn a significant amount of people interpret a character you like as exclusively cis/straight.
Like. I can't genuinely say you're wrong, but also how dare you????
ππππππ holy crap.
YES!!!
Also, I hated seeing my dad/old-man-crush almost get publicly murdered on live tv. That was VERY DRAMA. This show really didn't pull many punches, huh?? x_x
YES!!!! Uuuuuuuuugh
My niece told me Toga was her fave before we'd even seen her introduced in the show, and I was like ??? Okay, well. No judgement. We support villain stans in this house, but now I GET IT. I GET IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Also, can I add: everything that happened between Toga and Uraraka was the most heart wrenching toxic yuri I've ever seeeen I WEPT
NO KIDDING. They dragged all these systemic/societal problems into the light, and while they didn't do a Magic Instant Fix, it left me with the impression that people (and particularly our dear, traumatized kiddos) are rethinking things and trying to make things better instead of just Punch Bad Guy.

I'm seriously about to start collecting CDs again, I swear. I can still rip them to build a personal digital library, too. I have an external USB disc drive and I have not forgotten the Old Ways
Ah, I see. That does kinda explain how rushed a lot of things felt toward the end.
I've been eagerly watching the current Aizawa backstory arc in Vigilantes, and obvs know *generally* where it's going. I'm glad we're getting the backstory, even if we couldn't get the full fallout in the main series
