I vividly remember the 7th March that year because it was my birthday. Work sent me home in a taxi with all my WFH equipment for "30 days" because I was classed as vulnerable. 5 years later I'm still here WFH. It felt so novel and weird then.
With me, I either eat it all in one day or I'm left with food that I'm not in the mood to eat for the next 5 days and end up throwing it away.
Two that I've read this month. Very different (to each other) but both brilliant beyond words, really. I've recommended both of them enthusiastically to my book reading friends.
Just so we're clear, trans rights are human rights.
That was not a question.
Good night my friends ๐๏ธ๐๐ฆ
And this was a re-read about 31 years after the first time. A timely reminder that when the end of the world comes it will probably be faintly ridiculous. #vonnegut #catscradle
Documenting everything I read this year. This was wonderful. I can't really believe I managed to get to 53 years old before reading it. But now firmly in my notional top 5. #steinbeck #eastofeden
