Me every time reading about European initiatives trying to attract American researchers.

Reproducing wealth then becomes a catalyst for affective ties in extended kinship networks. The emotionalisation of these ties is a key tool of dynastic wealth management in contemporary societies. To better understand wealth inequality, the family should be a primary site of investigation!

Destructive family conflict is seen as a major threat to family wealth continuity by consultants, wealth managers and super-rich families themselves. These families increasingly use so called 'family strategy processes' as a tool to create positive affective ties among extended kinship networks.
