What have I done
An adaptation of The Dark is Rising (and the rest of the series) that is actually good and, like…accurate to the books.
Thanksgiving is now just me and my parents. We celebrate on Wednesday and my father makes whatever we agree we feel like eating this year. We talk, maybe we watch a movie. Then I can spend the next 4 days straight on my couch in sweatpants. This approach is fine. Any approach is fine!
This is part of the issue with Act 2, isn’t it - the need to force a happy ending when the back half of the book is pretty damn bleak.

I mean, do what you want, I can’t stop you, but if your “podcast” is only available on video I am not watching it and if it’s *also* available on video…well, I’m not watching that either, probably.
