The ice machine at the club bar is broken again.
The irony is so much ice at the club, but we're bringing in a couple bags of ice for the bar...

It's a little crazy.
Gives the snow banks a chance to melt though which is nice
This seems like a weird 10 day weather forecast...
New shoes felt good, but very green slider disc, needs a lot more breaking in to get up to speed but felt good to sweep in them
Peculiar game last night in what felt like a first game in forever. We weren't trying to set this line up like in the Brier, and only one point was scored with the hammer the whole game. Gave up a couple steals in the first 2, forced, then we stole singles and a double in the 7th for the win.
Enjoying the Brier final before I curl, which seems like it's been a while. Finally get to break in my new curling shoes which is exciting too.

Tasty.
Getting to the business end of the 10th end of the semi final at the Brier and this is a crazy setup...
Foggy early morning drive to Foxborough for dance comp. Youngest isn't dancing today, that's team life apparently. Regardless, so many cars driving without lights on including a bunch of cops.
Breakfast at the Commons Eatery and it was perfectly fine. Coffee cake French toast and meat omelette.
If you're pushing the rock, you're sweeping solo.
Great to see a rock move.
Managed to escape from dance comp and grab dinner at a local sushi spot which was pretty good. We're back at it for another hour plus awards. Our dancer was done 5hrs ago, but needed to stay for team awards.
So many emotions watching the post interview.
It wouldn't be dance comp without finding a brewery to sneak out and grab a bite from... Station One - Shovel Town Brewery in Foxborough was good.
This was a shot in a great game today...

That's really helpful thanks!
That's a whole lot of stuff. How much work was it to fill up so the options?
Love that!
That looks great and I like their slogan.
But like one of the dry cleaners down here which is "We're okay dry cleaners" lol
That's one of the options we're looking at.
What does your club charge for that?
That was a heck of a game!
Gushue v Jacobs, the game to decide who goes undefeated in the round robin, and it's a good one...

#Curling folks, any experience and tidbits if you're been involved to soliciting sponsorship for the club for a particular project?
What kind of sheet/bar options have been offered?
We're exploring joining the 21st century and not be scared of the idea lol
Blush Sour Planet, 6.4% grape wine and cherry sour is the new Aeronaut release and it's lovely and refreshing.
Probably too late in the season for me to get for the club though but well with checking out for my sour drinking friends.
Siberian Trainwreck from the Wayland Deli, when you're swinging through Wayland on the way back from the ER, and this thing is amazing.
Everyone is fine btw.
The Men's Scottish Curling Tour 2027, they're coming to Broomstones and TCC as one of the stops.
We hosted the ladies event a few years ago which was a lot of fun.

Nothing like bunking off school to check out a school because they don't do open houses on the weekend.
But we visited another college. Nice campus.
They offered her a full ride.
It is still not her top choice however.
Focal... Stupid autocorrect.... Focal Banger is definitely one of their best offerings.
The double raise double was a pretty slick shot too.
Might be unpopular opinion, but Final Banger is their better beer.
They are ugly, they are bright, but they came out great and I love them.
But one tip for anyone new to putting on the top coat might be to use for gloves. Got some of the orange on my fingers and they got a bit stained trying to take it off so I look like I've fingered a Ommpaloompa.
