One resident says he didn’t hear anything last night but police arrived at around 10pm. “It’s quite unusual something like this around here,” he said. “We have had a few incidents on Morville Road recently though.” @manchestereveningnews.co.uk

A @manchestereveningnews.co.uk investigation uncovers the illegal weight loss jabs being sold on TikTok. Semaglutide is approved in the UK with a prescription - but it took us just 10 minutes to buy a jab no questions asked on the social media app.

Doctors have warned taking such injections could give you an allergic reaction or put you in the hospital.
It comes after a BBC report suggesting only a small no of those eligible for weight loss jabs on the NHS will actually get them due to budgetary constraints.
The account also doesn’t make it clear what exactly is in the syringes - at one point it says the semaglutide is mixed with water, while in another place it says it is mixed with the compound phenol. It is also not clear where the jabs are sourced from.
The illegal jabs came in pre-filled syringes packaged in plastic with shiny stickers, a tape measure, and a hair tie. No instructions or safety information was included.
So many things about these black market jabs are deeply concerning. Semaglutide is available on the NHS now with a prescription, but sellers on TikTok asked me no questions at all about my age, weight, or medical history.
