The Atlantic article has many good substitution recommendations, and lessening microplastics and buying less plastic is absolutely still relevant and important.
Summary: silicone, wooden, and stainless-steel spatulas. Stainless and cast iron pans, remove plastics, esp. the black plastic, and bring back glass.
