In middle school we discovered you could cover multiple buttons with a textbook and get 2-4 cans for one money if you pushed the middle of book.

Sue, the largest T-Rex!
Graham Crackers Comics
Had a really good time in Chicago. Watched a film, went to a historic jazz bar, saw Sue, the largest T-Rex, and checked out a cool comic shop. Need to go back during the summer to catch some baseball.
I miss that price. 😢
Agreed. Pixar hasn’t really put much out lately that I’ve been interested in. I think Soul was the last one i watched and I remember enjoying it but not to the point of wanting to revisit it. Looks like a lot of the upcoming stuff is retreading their IPs so meh.
Clarence F.Buckingham Memorial Fountain. Famously featured in the Married With Children opening sequence.
Cultural touchstone unlocked.
Wrf did I just watch?!?
Pink Eraser Art Book.
Picked up a new book today. Now to actually read it and try to make some art instead of what usually happens, which is the new book finding a spot on my bookcase and looking like I am an art reference depot..
It’s not sugar free, but at only 5 grams of sugar, and 5 grams of fiber, it’ll do. Not may good grab sodas out there and I can’t drink regular Crush.
Any of my rad pop culture and retro friends have suggestions for a nerd visiting Chicago?
This one’s pretty rad. Gonna have to keep my eye open for one
Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed.
Saw Send Help on Friday and had a good time. Unhinged moments, Sam Raimi hitting his high notes, and the ridiculous premise of an unattractive Rachel McAdams. She plays crazy very well and you almost feel sorry for her boss until you remember he’s a POS. If Raimi or Rachel is your jam, check it out.

Handful of Marvel Comics with 25th anniversary covers. Top issue is Heathcliff
My comic culling continues. Here’s a small stack of extra 25th anniversary covers that will soon be moving to the sales boxes.
Castle Rat: Into the Realm vinyl album
Newest addition to my vinyl collection. Discovered them recently and glad I did. Very Dungeons and Dragons metal. Worth checking out if that is your vibe.

Hit up some flea markets on Valentines morning. It was pretty lackluster but then as I was leaving a little junk market, I spied this in a bundle of video game publications and quickly shelled over the three bucks. If you are very meticulous, you too can program your own games on an old Apple.
A DND group that starts on time?!? It would be a Superbowl miracle!
We are playing Magic the Gathering today. My group aren’t football fans, though I am but when we set the date a month ago, I said it wouldn’t be a problem since I only really care about it if the Seahawks were playing. What do you know? But we can’t reschedule so will have it on in the background.
Knights of the Dinner Table 222 comic featuring an homage cover to the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon.
On today’s episode of comics I only bought because I thought the cover was rad; I present to you Knights of the Dinner Table 222.
I grabbed one too. Been only drinking zero sugar sodas for a while now so this wasn’t too bad. Kinda luke a less sweet Martinellis. Was surprised at how much fiber was in it. Means its healthy. Lol
Unfortunately the price means I won’t be buying too much of it.
Boxes full of vintage sewing patterns
One more carload of vintage sewing patterns acquired. I’m running out of room and have two more carloads to go. 😩
I’ve been talking with community who are perplexed that their family, friends and neighbors won’t see the truth about this administration and its open facism. I tell them that the opposition has invested billions to ensure those people remain loyal, or at the very least, supportive of the regime.
Comic culling continues. My hoarding instincts are screaming at me as I tell myself “you already have most of a set of 25th anniversary covers. You don’t need to start a second set”
The culling had begun!
Just finished the first season and wow
So sorry!! Hope you can recover soon.
