Just some samples while I'm working out lettering. I'm struggling a bit with the whole using Affinity to do letters as I'm much more used to hand-drawing my effects and letters - so enjoy some stuff that's been hand-lettered in the meantime.

Got some grubbies, going to have to set up an incubator to see if we can get them to pupate in there. These guys are just an absolute highlight for me and I want to see more captive bred going on.

Unofficial: In my fam (US, hEDS + small farm + mom did mounted S&R so we’re injury prone here) we called them vader or storm trooper boots depending on the color/weight.

Been waiting on a hot water heater over a week - plumbers came out and realized it had to be a special part heater (attached to our HVAC) and had to special order.

They want us tired, scattered, unorganized. If you can take a single piece and make it your thing in your friend group, you can do a lot.

Don't shoulder it all yourself. Find a niche, know it, track it - when it's big, you call all your friends in yours and different states and ask them to please call their reps too.

Protecting our freedoms lacks the action-organization that taking them away already has against us all.

Kind of a further note for anyone coming across this - One thing I do to not get so overwhelmed by the news/politics/helplessness is I try to lean on different friends for different knowledge expertise. If that knowledge friend asks me to call a rep and gives me a quick why, I'll do it.

I say this in part as someone whose disabilities makes it almost impossible to go out and protest.

Cats can take so long to settle in in general. My boy was in the thrift shop (rescue operated) kennel for so long - it took him three months to stop panicking and another three to settle in. One day he just realized he was ok.
He’s still super anxious about the front door and strangers tho.

Popa Spurca female Dino from the front, chilling on my hand, a lot of the texture and color that makes them amazing at hiding in bark and twigs is visible.

One of my favorites to keep, the largest of what I currently keep is my girl Dino, a popa spurca/“african twig mantis”. Popa are just wonderful darlings, utter freaks as nymphs, good eaters, and hilariously nosey individuals.

I unfortunately don't have alt-text time right now, but these are the screenshots going around, got them from a FLGS manager who was "holy cow" on it. Tiny Towns made AEG bank on the board game side.

Unfortunately, he also didn't run it by the CEO before mouthing off.

He also specifically called one individual game (+ one non-AEG game) that has made AEG a lot of their success as to imply the designer is unnecessary and human creativity as basically "meh" in his L-in post - so it came off as rather targeted.

This one was an interesting read some years ago for me.

Rewrite of ch 4 open (got to like 17 and decided I needed to go back and rework 4) ; a stream for a game I'm interested in up but I don't speak the stream language ; a half built polypod ball in my hand.

Usually Wednesday nights are my creative nights, but I've not been feeling great for a few days due to the storm - big ol migraines and all - so I'm kind of just indulging my chaos.
