Eh. Given the author's choice of words in the opening and closing paragraphs, it seems he •strongly• desires a physicalist approach. But - and to his credit he closes with this - this theory only focuses on "downstream" effects outside of the quantum realm. Doesn't pass the sniff test for me.

Ten seconds later the PJ Harvey that’s playing mentions eagles.
I parlay this craziness. I grab the book next to me. Open to a random page. The third word I read is “eagles”.
