the power introduction was very hard but i’m willing to give it a pass as a tough love intro. it was fun
i am still describing a like 8-9/10 layer, for the record. everything else about it was great. was definitely still worth the wait, and i’m pretty confident it’ll grow on me.
act 8 where i do feel like i just had no idea what was going on at times bc the rooms just had too much stuff happening (8-3 especially). i played on brutal, but im more talking about the quantity of stuff happening, rather than difficulty. and that’s probably by design, just wasn’t as much for me.
also i don’t think anyone really cares? but ultrakill act 8 is very good, but i do think its the first act in the game where i think things got too chaotic? in the other acts i felt like things were extremely hectic, but not so chaotic that i lost my bearings completely. there were a few levels in

afo is an ulting lash
bakugo is now viscous, snatching haze away from an ulting lash with cube rescue beam
deku is now ivy, and gearshift is replaced with ivy ult
