Jessica and i have been busy!
Stan lost his head ages ago. He's been dumped out the back for many months.
After many hours cleaning, he now lights up our life! (Well, our lounge room at least)
New Doom8088 and elksdoom releases. This release is almost 5% faster than the previous release.
Why didn't I think of optimizing the BSP trees with a node builder before?

colorful circuit board in a layout program. each layer is a different color. it's complicated!
this is the largest circuit board i've ever completely reverse engineered. 8 layers, larger than a sheet of paper, 1000s of nets, over 1000 parts. π§΅
The first time Charlie Chaplin spoke onscreen, he implored the people of the world to resist the rising tide of fascism.
Nearly 90 years later, it remains a timely message.
Happy 35th #Lemmings anniversary!

Itβs so funny to think about the fact that thereβs people out there deferring every life decision to this
AmigaTan: "This sucks. Just awful. but it's so awful it wraps back around and makes it awesome. This just has a certain "stink" to it that makes you crack a shit-eating grin when you see it." π€£

I'm going to give this a shot. Transplanting all of the components from an #Amiga A2386SX bridgeboard that had severe battery damage that I could not repair to a remake of the A2386SX board. The large square "million leg" ICs have me worried but worth a shot.

I donβt have the BRAM for a depth buffer so itβs time to get the memory controller up and running for this fjord torus.
100% FPGA logic 3D pipeline, no CPU.

TIL you can "get gnomed" when using Linux.
A combination of installed packages can cause GNOME desktop to spontaneously appear on your computer.
There's even a whole subreddit dedicated to it.

Finishing things up for #PicoIDE and it just about saturates the IDE bus in MWDMA mode 2. Iβm pretty happy with this! It tests as fast as a 74x CD-rom drive which means thereβs a bit more headroom in that mode but that could be the CPU on this K6-2 system being a bottleneck.

I've just released fully documented source code for The Sentinel as an easy-to-browse website.
It's a lot more fun to explore than the GitHub repository, with cross-references, popups, indexes, statistics and more.
Enjoy!
