An unwanted phantom, glimpsed through fog. What I do is in my Carrd- https://druid-ocelot.carrd.co/ He/Him. 34 #C'oshta_posting (for the trash son) #ffxiv_fanfiction (for when i update only) header and pfp are both by me. not that it matters.

opens bsky. blinks. prepares to log out of bsky.
this is enough internet for the day i think.
I can't stress how much suffering this trauma response causes. People messaging me first or just checking on me is such a breath of fresh air and reassuring that I am not, in fact, annoying and people are not constantly mad at me.
Autism and Trauma are absolute bastards together.
picrew.me/en/image_mak...
the picrew is here, if its not already around.
this is inherently very funny because my pfp is just a silly little thing i drew with my preferred online handle on it.
(my hairs about half grey nowadays, but greying ginger hair is just not a thing on this picrew)
If i were to speak my mind on this, it would be a Terms of Service violation on every platform that exists.
C'oshta's is <The Last Resort> because i spent. SO LONG GRINDING THAT TITLE so i might as well use it.
and also.... yeah. yeah he would be someone's last resort.

(yes that is mr. moonbeam's tail in the corner. he wanted headbutts. and attention. very badly.)
to be fair. my whole extant plan for captivity is VERY funny. complete with my poor typewriter ribbon being SLIGHTLY too dry. (ignore the misspellings and bad grammar. outlines are for fun, not for good writing).
at this point i worry that the team is looking at fan conversations on public socmed and actively looking for ways to be cruel. (i am seeing a lot of ...similarities... to how certain TV shows did "fanclub" episodes... to make fun of their audiences.)
I can be no more "mean" to c'oshta than i can to my sock full of dry split peas that i microwave to use as a heating pad.
I use conflict and tragedy as narrative devices to spur on the narrative.
tragedy is not the only way to spur a narrative.
it IS the one i enjoy writing.
other people have said it better than i can.
conflict can be a great way of spurring character development.
it is not the only way to spur character development.
different people like different things.
fictional characters are not people. They are an object that is part of a story.
a cropped screenshot of a table of contents for a document.
I think finally getting all my notes compiled and organized in a single document instead of on a discord server, two hundred separate pieces of errata (including documents, note cards, pieces of paper, and screenshots) is one of the most delicious things i've done for myself, tbh.

cid/nero, aymeric/estinien/vrtra, m'naago/lyse, urianger/thancred (eventually), tataru/krile, daidukul/hien, sadu/cirina, sanson/guydelot... thats just off the top of my head tho. im sure if i thought about it for more than 30 seconds i'd have more. I just love love, after all.
the growing opposition to nsfw in art and writing communities is not only an uncomfortable bellweather for the social climate, but also personally isolating. excising nudity, humanity, desire from art is antithetical to art making. it prioritizes marketability over the marginalized.
we cannot keep positioning pregnancy as a demeaning thing to be done to people as some sort of sexualized punishment.
I understand that not everyone βwants to seeβ explicit adult content, but βnsfwβ is too broad a term and it seems to be growing ever wider, especially as a means to censor queer art and nonwhite bodies. a figure drawing class would be labeled as explicit by this site and a portion of its community.
"unhinged wolqotd" "mpreg is real" hey everyone we just had tdov yesterday can we be normal
the goal on my ko-fi has been edited for a SINGLE month's rent and bills, since it's about all I can do outside of having my jewelry commissions open again. (and they are open again.)
LRP- gonna be extremely blunt here.
social security disablility is the ONLY reason i make rent right now.
and there is zero extra after bills.
that $1440/mo is all that stands between me and being unhoused.
its a bad day to be sober
this is why saving any of us means saving all of us. there is nothing being done to people you find "lesser" or "more deserving" that will not inevitably be done to you once they realize it works. you have more in common with the residents of your city's homeless encampments than you do with Elon
the actual predictor of crime isn't city or race or poverty. it's desperation. if your government builds a system where your choices are steal or die, people are going to steal, and that becomes proof we need more police and more jails and more felons stripped of their right to vote.
if an 88 year old's only source of income vanishes, they can't get a new job. their life becomes a horrible balance of sacrifices between keeping their power and heat on, and feeding themselves, and paying for their prescriptions, and if they have no family to fall back on they are going to die.
this is the final, inevitable outcome of insurance companies being allowed to dispute and deny claims until people run out of appeals because they're dead. there is no one to call. there is no one to beg. they can call it "staffing issues" and "an unfortunate situation" and people are going to die
i've worked at 5+ medical, pediatric, dental offices. i have seen the despair in a person's eyes when they realize medicaid is not going to cover their newborn baby because of a clerical error, and i have personally spent hours on the phone begging on their behalf.
elon sees these people as a drain on the government's bank accounts, even though they paid into this system for their entire lives. their deaths will save the government millions of dollars, which can then be repurposed for contracts with elon's companies.
they are doing the quiet part out loud, which is killing off as many people as they can that depend in any way on government programs. the elderly, the disabled, the poor, especially those with children. they know the media will cover these deaths as "tragedies" and refuse to link them back to DOGE
