It's a large "urban oasis" area in Bangkok, called Bang Krachao, encircled by the main river.
"Children need to take risks and get hurt" playground philosophy.
Wooden playground with giant horse and ropes.
Wooden playground with giant horse and ropes.
This is how to do playgrounds and playground philosophy. A playground where you can't break your neck is a boring one.
I feel like it would have looked better to do this in one volume.
My wife no longer trusts me when we're on holiday and I tell her that a distance is easily walkable.
Does the expiration date on a cream for athlete's foot matter? This one expired 6 years ago. You think it still works?
Oh ffs, is there no bottom to this circus?
This is the new "You can't grow concrete."
You can't build bananas.
Maybe Hegseth has a point. He went to Princeton, and look how he turned out.
You're a bit safer when you separate them with a comma like that. I think the really grievous version is like this now:
"He wasn't just a community champion.
He was a hero."
I sometimes worry that I inadvertently read so much AI-writing that I'll start writing like that. Maybe in itself a good reason to cut down on internet reading and read more pre-AI books.
Just started reading Mary Trump's 2020 "Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man" and this quote hit hard.
I'm only just through the intro, but at just ~$7 for Kindle, I'll already recommend it.
"By the time this book is published, hundreds of thousands of American lives will have been sacrificed on the altar of Donald's hubris and willful ignorance. If he is afforded a second term, it would be the end of American democracy."
In 3024 years, life will either be really good or really bad.
It's 5050.
Every time I read something on this subject, I'm shocked by passages like this. How are these percentages so low? These visits should be down by 90 percent.
Don't allow this. Pete Hegseth is hiding in the boat and will sneak out and open the gates to Greenland at night.
What are the ecological effects of releasing and managing mallard ducks for hunting?

For years, the FDA website warned of products and remedies claiming to treat autism that were being marketed deceptively and can be harmful.
Just a few:
β’hyperbaric oxygen therapies
β’chlorine dioxide
β’raw camel milk.
Now, under RFK Jr, that advisory is gone.

A new Danish take on the traditional green Kaj Kage is the Kvaj(e) Kage (moron cake), which is orange and looks like Trump.
The original Kaj Kage (Kaj Cake)
Kaj og Andrea - Puppet show for children (and adults)
This cake isn't that funny without context, which I guess non-Danish don't have. Denmark has long had a Kaj Kage, which is made to look like the frog Kaj from the Kaj and Andrea puppet show. Kaj sounds a lot like Kvaj (moron), so the new version is orange and looks like Trump and is called Kvaj.
Today, I writing about the environmental legacy of Nixon (the last criminal in the white house before this). He relied on a 1965 report stating clearly the impact of the greenhouse effect. Today, the current occupant trashes all of this - www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

Cool. Thanks for that. 6 different jumps still doesn't seem like that much variation to me though. Is it too difficult to come up with other ways to jump or are there rules that say it has to be only these 6 or something? I've heard about the backflip, which is illegal to do.
But of course, as with anything, I suspect it's very nuanced if you understand it.
As someone who knows nothing about figure skating, I think it seems very repetitive. It looks like they're just doing the same spinny jump thing over and over again. It looks very hard, but I don't think it looks like there's much variation other than in how good they are at that jump.
You're seeing what I'm seeing, right?
Ossoff: "You're seeing what I'm seeing, right? The president posting about the Obamas like a Klansman."
They should have their own separate MAGA movies too. With star-studded cast line-ups such as Rob Schneider, Kevin Sorbo, and Roseanne Barr.
I'm hugely in favour of this thing where conservatives from now on have their own separate entertainment with only conservative artists.
Because watching them try to convince themselves and others that what they have is good is just quality entertainment for everyone.
Oh I just saw that Iron Lung was by Markiplier. Had no idea. Not that I know him well, but I know of him. Interesting.
