Yes, I was miffed when the one gay character was written out after season one. But also: Miss Scarlet is never wrong. She is always right and the only problem she ever has is that no one believes in a female detective. She has no flaws, SOCIETY is the one with flaws. It's tired after a few episodes.
I've been watching a period drama called Miss Scarlet and the Duke, and on the surface it should be everything I love. Edwardian era lady detective, clashing with the sexy police inspector, gorgeous costumes. But it's never clicked for me and I figured out why.
It's that time of the year when you trick your family into believing that you have your shit together.
