It's a pity there's no convergence like that of the underground and overground near Wimbledon Common. Would set up some great memes :)
I liked the idea of the ammo crafting in NV but it was over complicated and the different types/calibres were confusing to a non gun nut. The end-game plot choices were a bit crappy too.
Fallout 3 felt more free to roam and explore. Also a bit more of the Fallout atom punk style.
Itβs strange to think: smartscopes have been with us for a half a decade+ now. In a short time, they've revolutionized amateur astronomy. We had a chance to put Dwarf Labβs new Dwarf Mini through its paces.
Hereβs our review @universetoday.com - www.universetoday.com/articles/rev...
Stephenson's Rocket locomotive, tender and coach. Built out of Lego using 1970 style blue rail era bricks. Coach has a switch on top as it's built on the 4.5V motor and includes a Li-ion battery.
Another random Lego trains post. I made Stephenson's Rocket (and power coach) 70s blue rail style.
Yup. Itβs because I finally had a clear sky during daylight to test my Dwarf Mini in sun mode. So the sunspots all hid.
Does this also mean you see a modern electric or diesel loco and immediately exclaim "What devilish trickery is this?!"

Taking a slight rail diversion into Lego trains with my own MOC of a Class 23 Baby Deltic (using only parts up to the early 80s for blue rail 4.5v Lego)
π΄ NEW - Why you should leave X
Hereβs the sad truth: Twitter no longer exists. X is something else entirely. Itβs a megaphone for extremism, controlled by a deranged oligarch.

Time to bring back the word Pseud :)
Really enjoyed the F1 Movie. Definite Hollywood level suspension of reality required to watch it. But still really fun to watch. Think F1 on alternate timeline stuff :)
This is a classic example of MIMO. Moron In, Moron Out.

Poison the well. Host enough toxic material (random garbage, entire books that are just the word la repeated etc.) in such a way that the bots can happily scrape it, but it won't be served to the users and they'll stop recognising it as a valid source of training. That or just get more stupid.
Supposedly one of the rules for any of the Guinness 'biggest food thing' records is that the food mustn't be wasted. If I were the previous record holder I'd be putting in a complaint.
As someone who came back to the hobby after the initial eurogame βchangeβ I tend to think of it all as βmodern board gamesβ vs old. Thereβs still some bangers in the old stuff but you have to go into them remembering it was a very different era.
Panel One: A man is playing with iPhone Clean up feature, erasing an unwanted object that appears in the background of a picture of his cat. He says βI like this Apple photos Clean Up feature! You can disappear the annoying things in a photo!β Panel Two: The man sits up in his chair and says βWait a second, this gives me a great idea for a Vision Pro app! We can see he has a Vision Pro on the messy table behind him, Panel Three: A few weeks laterβ¦ The man is viewing his room through his Vision Pro goggles, and reaches out to remove a household cleaner bottle from the kitchen counter. Itβs disappears. He says βOMG, It works! Panel Four: He continues looking around the room. It is clean and tidy. He says βItβs perfect!β Panel Five: We pull back to reveal the man standing in his room, wearing the VR goggles. In reality, the entire place is a pig stye, full of clutter and garbage, dirty dishes, dirty rags, boxes of papers, empty bottles and dirty coffee cups, old bowls of food, popcorn and dirt on the rugs. He says β Clean Up for Vision Pro! Finally a killer app!β
A killer app for Vision Pro! www.geekculture.com/joyoftech/jo...
It can't even beat an Atari 2600 at Chess on easy mode at the moment.
Ah right. Thanks for the clarification. With all the βThis is an XBoxβ PR theyβve been doing for XBox Cloud play the immediate assumption was that it just streamed like any other portable/desktop/phone/fridge and was equally bad :)
Ah right. So it is a proper portable XBox then?
So is it just streaming XBox cloud games or actually playing them offline locally? Because if you have to be tethered to good broadband to play you might as well have an Xbox and a proper size TV.

Was digging through my files and rediscovered my old Totally True D&D Facts memes (which are all 100% true) and decided to clean them up a bit.
It's the programmer equivalent of "No plan survives first contact with the enemy" :)
Often first responded to by the coders with "You did what?!"
