My walks with Happy got me out in nature at a time when my mobility was at its very worst. I was recovering from mid-February hip surgery. #dailydrawing #dog

I made this sketch while on vacation In Savannah, Georgia two years ago because while waiting for a Lyft to a restaurant, this van full of doggy daycare pups stopped in front of us and a gorgeous Golden Retriever got out and walked to the door of his home across the street.

We are reading Maybe Next Time by Cesca Major which employs the Groundhogs Day format. Although I find that format overused in fiction (and Hallmark Movies), it’s actually a pretty good book.
