I love that we’re at a place where “at least nodding toward trying not to kill civilians”= “dumb, politically correct” and “minimalist” (derogatory).
Really, love it. Feels great.

Having one of Those Moments when you realize you’ve spent more than a year in a constant state of mild dissociation because if you let yourself really face it all you’ll start screaming and never stop

The mayor sounds like a real peach.
WTF man? “We should somewhat improve conditions in the concentration camps” is not it.
Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare FTW!
Nazis dying of shooting, stabbing, burning, neck-breaking, and more, all in gloriously vicious, almost cartoony violence! Watched it on an airplane a week after the election and it was deeply satisfying even then. Gotta be even better now.

Imagine how much they’d be lying about what happened without all the videos showing it from multiple angles.
She *means* perpetrate, but she *says* perpetuate. Because in addition to being a soulless ghoul, she’s also a sub-literate dummy.
Any senator can deny unanimous consent for E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. Don’t let them name a post office without dragging it out and using every floor statement to call out the administration’s crimes. There can’t be any business as usual when there are multiple overlapping, ongoing constitutional crises.

Yeah, maybe pause and reflect on that a little, Sean.
It’s deadly boring and takes a full day for a novel, but it is the last thing I do before I send something back to my editor.

I accosted them, crazed, and somehow got them to give me a key to their house. We cooked a whole Thanksgiving dinner in their kitchen while they were gone. We left them a thank-you pie and a bottle of wine.
He couldn’t think of anything better. I ran outside to the car in my pajamas to make sure I had the key to her apartment. Our across the street neighbors, who we barely knew, were walking out of the house to go to her sister’s for the day.
My husband hated that idea (at volume and with swears). I suggested (at louder volume and more swears) that it was therefore his turn to offer a suggestion.
We were panicked. I was cat sitting for a friend who lived about 20 minutes away. I suggested shuttling everything to her apartment to cook.
Our first Thanksgiving living together, my now-husband and I woke to discover our oven was completely dead. We were hosting. We had a 27lb turkey.
Right!? Always an “uh oh need to check myself” moment.
