the perceived quality of artistic works is usually based in convention (always changing, entirely subjective) but the one thing you just cant fake is heart (losers dont have this)

i go from full throttle smut to a single kiss to three seconds of charged eye contact if theyre lucky. i fear i wasnt supposed to write romance

being a writer means i can decide the slow burn isnt burning slow enough and torture my characters with sexual tension for the entire book instead. giving the people (me) what they want (unresolved pining)

it just needs a few edits (i have to rewrite the entire thing) ill be fine (screaming crying throwing up)

i feel this soo much 🥲 sometimes stories need to cook in the back of your mind for a while before theyre ready!! but you could always start slow with a oneshot and see where it takes you, this usually helps me heaps!

im feeling the exact same way. i feel like its time to move on from there but its really sad to lose so many connections :(
