Forgot to post the whiteboard from last week's furry club meeting. @yourfriendpel.bsky.social did most of the drawings on the right while the big one's mine. Found the idea of my big guy getting ticked off because they summoned him early funny, I'll have t9 revisit the idea at some point.
Making progress again on the big guy (3D edition), the cheek fluff is from the base model, will def want to rework it. still needs work on the eyelids but the basic shape is finally pretty decent. Plus a quick and dirty color to check things, that eye texture is a placeholder.

Realized I somehow never got around to posting the badges I made for AFC this year. I wear a lab coat when going to cons so decided to theme em off of and print them on ID cards. If you'd like one made shoot me a message, these are fun to make and I'd like to take comms after I've got more samples.

Model is using the Dragon base by @zairiza.bsky.social, been slowly working on editing it into my big dude over the past three years :).
Had some fun experimenting with substance painter to triple check the idiot's new color scheme and slightly change up the patterns. I'm going to do some more sculpting work (gotta add his second set of eyes and better muscle definition). Learned a bunch and can do better next time.

There's definitely power transmitted through the link Cables (It needs power to convert the fiber optic back to electrical headset side), it's just not significant relative to the power supplied. Headsets like like the quest use 5-10W active and most usb ports will do 2.5W.
