I just think it's important for you to know that this kind of sharing without evidence has caused fear and uncertainty in multiple trans spaces I am in. It's not helping and it's something most people I talk to don't know whether to believe or not. I'm not trying to say this didn't happen.

I understand not needing to prove yourself to us, but this is about other trans people needing to know if this is happening or not so that they can take steps in order to stay safe now and as things get worse. Now that you've shared this with internet people, it is something you're responsible for.

Have you reached out to any journalists so that this story can get out to a larger audience? I imagine someone like Erin Reed would love to run a story like this and it would help to confirm the details for people who want to share this but are worried about spreading misinformation.

If you want proof that our government is becoming Orwellian, do a google search for "site: *.gov lgbtq". You'll find that almost all pages will now 404 as the gov't is purging all info, safety guidelines, and scientific data about transgender and queer people.
