Okay, we're getting somewhere with this. The recording settings are great. Unfortunately Sonic 3 has some very intricate graphics that seem to really mess things up with the streaming settings, but it's definitely better than it was before. Thanks for helping, I really appreciate you taking time!
My encoder is set to Nvidia and I've been using the P5 (slow) preset. I've tested everything from P4 up to P7 (slowest) and I didn't see any improvements, and that was just recording, not streaming. Everything else on the layout went a little pixelated too.
Question for anyone out there who might stream classic Sonic:
How on earth do you get high quality? I'm on a new PC with a very strong graphics card but I still can't get the quality to stop going crunchy when Sonic is zooming. I'm not even speedrunning, I'm just trying to stream/record casually.

YouTube creators - if you turned off auto-dubbing because of horrible AI, have you noticed a severe drop in impressions? I've also heard that leaving it on is causing a drop in retention. So it sounds like either way it's killing the platform, again.
