like idk man. opla isn’t perfect and im all for critical media analysis (as anyone willing following me probably knows lmao) but so much of what i’m seeing that’s opla critical has nothing behind it except ‘well it’s different from the anime/manga!’ which is a very weak argument.

also like. sanji has never protested OTHER members of the crew attacking women because that would simply be impractical, it’s just that he himself can’t do it. that’s why he lets nami fight kalifa during water 7 and why he asks robin to save him from black maria in wano.

…….. y’all DO remember that sanji pointed a gun at robin the first time the crew met her in both the manga AND the anime right??
