I don’t think I will ever be able to root for Man City in my life. They are like the Empire to me and Pep is an evil mastermind to me 🤣 emphasis on the mastermind. Also secured my tickets to see the toffees in Chicago!!

There was a two year stint when I first started watched soccer where QPR was a premier league team and I almost chose them. Thank the Everton gods I didn’t. First memories I have of Man City was an Aguero goal off a Balotelli assist to win in the final minute. I think it was 2012 or 2013

the only other option was Jamies Winston and although I like him as a player, he will likely get more than Jones as a backup somewhere.

This all being said, I do not like this transaction

So it’s either we go for someone like jones for a relatively cheaper contract or we get a geriatric QB like Wilson or Rordgers which I would have hated more. Plus we dont have to waste a pick on a rookie QB now, or waste a pick on trading for someone.

This quarterback class for draft and free agency is terrible. Unless we wanted to drop $110m on someone like Sam Darnold we were not going to get a good QB.

Yeah the rams leaving sucks. St. Louis deserves an NFL team but I will proudly support the battlehawks now! Forgot to mention I became an Everton fan when I started getting into soccer because of Tim Howard 🤣

Family is from St Louis, and I live in Indianapolis. Grew up a Cardinals & Colts fan, adopted the pacers when I moved to Indianapolis along with the Fever and Indy 11. Not big on hockey but the Blues are the team I route for when I watch it!
