Turns out the false mailers and texts likening the temporary redistricting amendment to Jim Crow are coming from two PACs. New amended filings now say both are led by former Del. A.C. Cordoza, a Black Republican who lost his seat in November.

Former Del. Fralin and the PAC treasurer confirmed to me that his donation was to a separate and unconnected anti-redistricting committee and that an amended filing has been sent to the Virginia SBE.

An attorney for the PAC confirmed that this was an error and has been corrected.

Update: Fralin tells me he is not affiliated with the PAC and that this was a reporting mistake.
