Celebrating ep 7, I made an AR Lumon job advertisementβΌοΈEverything was 3D modeled in Blender then ported to Unity for the AR portionπ«‘Poster and its explanation in the replies‡οΈ

thank you so much!!!π«Ά
As connected as they are, their paths start to fade away the closer they get. The colors I used to make that pattern were also based on the Music Dance Experience ceiling lights:)
I wanted to try giving this one a 70s-80s VHS-esque style with all the conflicting time period technology on the severed floor. The intertwining patterns represent the path of humanity both innies and outies follow

thank you!!! i never actually committed to finishing it because i didnt like the result, mostly the ideaπ
I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS COVER WAS THE INSPIRATION FOR THE POSTER ππsomeone on the severance discord posted it and i instantly saw what i wanted to do
I wanted to make it as similar as I could so I tried to recreate the green floor in the office, the lights, the walls and their vents, and obviously the goo/paint as well, which took a lot of trial and error, but i think it came out good:D
I just refused to believe that was put there for no reason, so I decided to put a spin on both concepts and merge them. Using the Lumon slogan and an infinite symbol, I thought it gave off the absurd and ironic world of Severance
Thereβs a big theory on Lumon cloning, and I think thereβs something with conserving/reusing minds, whether itβs the Eagans or any severed person. I remember noticing a shot of a trash can saying βLumon Recyclesβ in the first episode
This was actually the one that took me the most time, as I had to learn from scratch how to use fluid simulations for the first time in Blender. Itβs a lot harder than it looks lmao

the original idea for this poster was actually supposed to be about marks alcoholism and irv purposely not sleeping to force his innie to dream, hence the constant coffee, but i didn't know how to make it look good so i went w something simplerπ

Considering alcohol dehydrates and there is a heavy emphasis on drinking water. My theory is that its having an effect on Mark because of his alcoholism. The split down the middle obviously refers to his procedure. The dashed lines around just give it that office/work feelingπ
Each water drop is representative of Lumonβs logo and each severed worker, which I purposely placed unsymmetrically due to the uncertainty in severance, and that Lumon canβt always be in perfect control. Markβs drop is a bit skewed due to him being an alcoholic
