A small page of doodles centuring around a Na'vi OC. The first drawing is an initial concept of the character Teyat, she has short braids at the back and two large ones that entwine at the front. She has several spines holding the front braids together, and a set of mirrored scars across her face, with black, white and red facepaint. The second drawing, a pose study, shows Teyat kneeling with her back towards the viewer. Her skin is more purple here, and her warpaint extends down her back, her arms and her thighs. She has several spines nestled beneath her skin, and wears modified human bones.

James Cameron acquires and will write a script for an adaptation of Joe Abercrombie's THE DEVILS.
He intends to write it after finishing post work on AVATAR: FIRE & ASH.

No Avatar Fire and Ash news, unfortunately. But I am looking forward to Fantastic Four. But I am still holding on to the theory that Avatar Fire and Ash teaser will show in front of the Fantastic Four.

Same with Tuk. While Tuk is still young, I can imagine she's been looking forward to taking Iknimaya for Omaticaya when she was older. And I hope she and Spider can still do it in future films.
So I was thinking, when Spider gets his "miracle", I can imagine that he wants to pass the Iknimaya for Omaticaya since he was raised around this clan. Instead of doing Iknimaya for Metkayina.

A roughly colored sketch of Tsireya from Avatar: The Way of Water and Psycher OC, Edelweiss. Tsireya and Edie look off into the distance as Tsireya gestures and speaks, with Edie listening intently. Edelweiss has a white sheath that covers the bare tendrils of her queue. The sheath floats, curling around her face. The color palette is warm and pink, despite Tsireya being painted with turquoise skin. Each girlโna'vi and replicant humanโpossess curly and wavy hair that drapes and coils along their shoulders and back. Their expressions are soft and seemingly content. Side by side, Edelweiss and Tsireya are the same height at 7'2, but the differences in their proportions are apparent. Edelweiss is broad and fat with wide hips and soft legs and arms. Compared to Tsireya, Edie's head is overlarge and her feet and hands are smaller in proportion to her body. Inversely, Tsireya is lithe with a broad ribcage and heavily tapered waist. While Tsireya's hips are wider than her waist, her hips are small, proportionally, and fall within the width of her shoulders. Tsireya's hands and feet are large proportionally to her body, and her head is slightly smaller, as well.
