Thank you for sharing! Really helpful. Keep enjoying the adventure!
I keep hearing people say this, but never why and I'm so intrigued. What is it that you enjoy most about it?
So great to see this out and hear from some of the team that made it happen and accessibility consultant @thewobblygamer.bsky.social !

Oh!! I so relate to this. I stink at FPS because people can always sneak up on me!
Also, Creepers in Minecraft terrify me. I can actually hear them but the sound is the perfect frequency to cause me discomfort, but at least I know they are coming? I can imagine that "hiss" being too soft for many.
Table Top:
Digital Options: Can search easily, refer back to, plan ahead, zoom in
A great DM/players: Welcoming. Understands and adapts to needs
Stretch/Snack Breaks: Refocus, recharge, relief
Maps: Helps to get my bearings, plan
Minis/Pieces: easy to grasp/manipulate/identify
How about you? π»
Video:
Captions: "hear" dialogue, focus on task/story
Logs/Transcripts: revisit quests to remember details.
Selective Sound Levels: Reduce music/background, amplify voice
Font size: the older I get the smaller that text gets
Button/Key Remap/Controller Support: Can still be effective without pain

What's an accessibility feature you appreciate?
What's something continually missing?
If you don't have a disability what accessibility features do you appreciate?
Me: Hearing loss, mobility, ADHD: Mostly invisible, but impact me.

Hi! π»
Thank you, I love my space and I'm happy you enjoyed it, too. I've loved Van Gogh since I was a little kid, which is probably why sunflowers are my favorite! They're all over my house. I love the warmth that they bring me, too. I need it more than ever! Thanks for being part of #axecon! π π§‘
I can't believe we live in a world where this was even a possibility, but then again... We do. π’

I thought that was absolutely fantastic and I am really happy to have more thoughtful companies integrating #accessibility into their #games. Thank you @jackboxgames.bsky.social for being that kind of company. π©·
I was delighted. Not only do they have a full section of their support site outlining where and how to activate the built in accessibility settings, but they also have a page that shows which games work best with screen readers. I've added those links below for folks who want to check it out.
I was recently looking for #accessiblegames to play online with others remotely and thought about Jackbox games. I wondered what sort of features it had.
Games are a great way to connect with others, especially when #accessible & #inclusive so that everyone can participate. How can you bring people together if the table isn't set for everyone?
Well, it looks like I need to add something to my reading list! π
Collaboration is *always* the best path. π
Add that to accessibility burn out, and when I consider all that you do I'm not sure how you keep up. But thank you for doing it. The world is lucky to have you.

Pro tip:
When showing code examples in a presentation, make sure you use a high contrast color scheme and utilize browser zoom. Also, reduce any UI that doesn't support the content.
This will help your audience see and follow your content better.
