It's always that one. Don't forget all the signals too
NEW: The Iranian drone strike that killed 6 U.S. troops in Kuwait at the start of the war was far more devastating than previously disclosed.
Dozens suffered traumatic brain injuries, burns, and shrapnel wounds. At least one required an amputation. More than 30 remain hospitalized. (CBS News)
"vending machines coming to trains "

They should just buy everyone a yacht instead
What goes on here
But it's his last show!
No one is talking about how cheap concerts have gotten
Cup dispenser and space for a water cooler on an NJ Transit train
Wild stumbling upon a remanent from a more prosperous civilization. Cold water on a hot day during a delayed commute? RETVRN
Reminds me of when Hilary was all in on a gas tax holiday
Does Iran have access to RobinHood? They could load up on SPY puts right before mining the straight.
Theyre going to do a "Portal bridge grand opening!" thing next Monday while the NEC is shut down due to power issues elsewhere. I guarantee it.
StayNJ where stay means you're stuck in the tunnel again
How about a StayNJ for transit users where the Stay is accomplished via more service and lower fares
You mean 25k right
Aren't airtrain construction outages basically the norm?
Even in the world of fully automated, theres no link between fares and frequency. Look at Vegas:
LV Monorail: $5.50 - Every 4 - 15 minutes
Aria Monorail: $0 - Every 7-15 minutes
MGM Tram: $0 - Every 3-7 minutes
Airport APMs: $0 - Every 3-5 minutes
Deuce bus (not automated) $4 - 10-20 minutes
Thats one reason NJT claims they only have two (2!) doors on the 60' buses. But it makes zero sense because those bsues run on urban routes where people are on and off every few minutes.
I think the real reason is that management is terrified of potential fare evasion.
Many years ago at a transit conference I asked the bus company rep why they don't make buses with more doors.
"The transit agencies don't ask for it"
I asked the transit agency why they don't ask for them.
"The bus companies don't offer it"
I get that. I have just never seen any correlation between a fare and service quality. The other most expensive (per mile) train in the region - the NJT Dinky, $3.55 - is currently suspended (and is on most days) and runs 40 minute gaps even though the trip takes 5 minutes.
The key to faster buses (and trains) are more doors.
But Americans HATE doors. And no one can explain why.
I tried to use the Dallas transit last time I was there. It just wasn't possible.

Was referring to the long waits for the fully automated train that charges $8.75 actually. The point being, there is zero correlation between fares and service. In Miami, the FREE metromover runs every 4 minutes on weekends while the PAID metrorail is every 30.

Hot take: "fares" don't really help people if it takes 15 minutes waiting in line and then the next train is 15 minutes away

They're going to hate taking the rutgers bus from the heldrich though, you have to transfer
On the plus side, the March transit ridership numbers will be good
It's good to see a playoffs sized crowd in March
I ride it 4 times a week and the OP was an accurate assessment
