Systemic problems are not solved well through personal shame. Especially not the coping mechanisms people use deal with other problems.

I am happy for people who find the reserve and go against the current. But I am done with blame and superiority against those who can't.

Change the system.

3/ And maybe even sometimes better. In being more effective in leading power than abandoning it through often privileged individual integrity that I hold.

2/ I am also not registered with a party because my state has open primaries. And I feel lower registration is a signal to how much one agrees. I don't disagree with the main point.

But I do feel those who work within parties to similar causes of human decency without cruelty. Are no worse than I.

1/ Most people want to solve problems. Most claim to value goodness and reason. That their votes are strategic. That they don't support everything a party or a candidate does.

Most feel that their leaders are imperfect, but that like you they have to vote for someone.

Wish for them to be treated fairly and with accountability.
At some point, we might get some of that. It is a dream worth hoping for and working towards.
Might not happen either, but it doesn't lower you to their level in a way that straight eye for an eye does not.
Justice is the best revenge.

US media pundits tend to be traitors to their nation but not to the pay of their oligarchical lords.

Every mainstream news outlet buried the story with intent about what sort of President Trump would be.

They went with his lies and disparagement of Harris with out facts to back it up.

They did this for profit. To misinform their fellow Americans with propaganda.

Don't trust those traitors now.

The fact that nukes in a war of aggression by USA and Israel aren't off the table shows exactly why any country on the planet is wise to have nukes in the face of fascist aggression.

What the US Israel and Russia have proven is that nukes are necessary to end the aggression of those who have them.

I want a society that is decent and helpful and not to deep into my shit when I don't want that. That isn't nefarious, sometimes it isn't always the best for me, but I want a community but also a private life.

And yeah, I think socialism can still do that. But I have met many socialist who can't

This is exactly why it is fair to compare Republicans to Nazis. They act like them through and through.
I have no compassion for fascists bent on cruelty. And that includes all those friends and neighbors who voted this way that people just look the other way at.

Questions should be "Why are you not helping evacuate Americans because we know that you aren't, and why should I believe a word you say without verification? Trust but verify was what Reagan said? You believe in that?"

It would be so nice to see a Democratic Party behaving in a way that inspired envy and respect.

Just being against Trump is not enough. One has to be for something inspiring and if one had it worth envying. A US where people flourished and our soft power made the world better.

If I were democratic leadership I'd be making a stand against the worst now, while putting forth a program on how Americans can flourish with decency and not with oligarchy later.

Because that world is possible if the Democrats reach beyond rich donors.

Going along with an unjust war when you have a choice just makes you one of the bad people.

2 To challenge Trump is not without cost. If Trump chooses to put Americans in harms way, Americans will die. They are already. Coddling the action just draws it out, and more die. Especially more people without guns or a choice. That is just murder for comfort.

1Funding an unjust war and going along with killing people who don't deserve it, is something most people do actually understand. The entire point of military appropriations in the Constitution not being over the two year length of a house term is exactly there to stop wars by ceasing their funding.

If they are willing to still fund the war which Dem leadership has been cagey about. That is a problem. So far, they don't like that Trump usurped their power, but stopping the actual war has been more weasel worded in response.

And I know when leadership has failed. Do you? Or are you just blind to the fact that Americans don't like Democrats as much as they don't like Republicans? That this is a real problem and one that current leadership doesn't seem to be able to fix.

Defeating them involves putting up a real alternative that people want. Not a war in Iran or the middle east.

Harris did a bad job convincing people she was the peace candidate. Trump partially won on lies with that.

To win, Dems need to be the anti-war party. Not the fund the unjust war party.

I think the sort of cynicism that you push is disempowering and not realistic. I do actually believe that some politicians actually care about the country and world in which we all live.
Maybe you don't believe that, and maybe that is projection.

Do you understand what a political party is and how they work together, in support? Do you know why leadership in the party is actually important?

If one doesn't shut it down and funds it more, one is complicit with the outcome. Exactly like collaborating with fascists in the past.
