Another reason is I was a storyboard artist in animation company. So draw by day is already enough. Draw by night if I'm tireless, just doing sketches. Now trial error around balance in academia see how it goes.

But I'm excited to return to it slowly hopefully next year, but redo it into oneshot.

I miss drawing my oc webcomic Red Herald. It's been 6 years I left it hiatus at unfinished ch 2 since fulltime job. Always envy and salute who can squeeze+balance fulltime job, other responsibilities, & drawing.🫡
I'm from percentages that came home from work then feel exhausted even in weekends.

The actual tale is LONG, so unfortunately I had to summarize and cut short to fit into 5 minutes-ish duration (including cut few queer stuff not get questioned by traditional panels🧍🏻) If I have time and money, I would animate the whole book (for Pustaka Antara publisher 4th edition 1968 that I have)

Went clinic this morning, while doc put IV drip (multivitamins), she check my blood. Thankfully red blood & pallete are good. But baterial is 12.2. Supposedly 11.0 below. This week is not my week //faints💦

Plus, sad I unable to go to artist alley. I want to meet few artists friends & buy their arts, but I jawdropped I forgot artist alley is on diff. floor & the people... So many... So sorry unable to go artist floor😭

Road to FF7R3 begins!

Met Director FF7 ReTrilogy Hamaguchi-san at Comic Fiesta Day 1. Both of us standing. I cosplayed as [hijabi] Cid Highwind! He excitedly mentioned シド "Shido"! (The Japanese pronounciation for Cid). And we had fun! (He also loves other FF cosplayers too if I remember correctly. Besides myself Cid, there's Tifa, Cloud, Aerith, Zack & Dion Lesage!) This is Meet & Greet session at 12 noon. His panel talk is at 4pm the same day! It's a closed stage panel so I cant say much unless he revealed some infos in morning's interview with local game journalists. Maybe you'll see somewhere in internet later.

His signature!! Good experience autograph! He also gave small gifts to 80 attendees and I got Reno!

Continue progressing my animation thesis film the next day yesterday! Today Monday, the post-convention fatigue came back😭

Went to Comic Fiesta Day 1 last Saturday! As soon as CF announced Director Naoki Hamaguchi came to Malaysia, I immediately cosplayed as Cid Highwind too early! (Initially was to sew Cid denim jacket from scratch, but next time!)

If I remember correctly, there's a Tiktok meme of "your art doesnt look Malaysian" thingy, I may join it when I feel like it. I love the diverse artstyle that I didnt know you guys are Malaysians!😂✨️Glad I'm not alone! Especially I only inject local elements vaguely into my art.

Some Malays especially Malay normies & Malay artists normies gotta remember that our country is so diverse and very multicultural that we sometimes share some aspects of each other's food, clothes, etc & not assimilate into one single race/background + JP & English/EU/USA media coming to locals.

I'm a bit tired of some locals asking "why your art doesn't feel Malay Muslim? Why Japanese, Chinese, Hindu-Buddha (lately my animation thesis revolve around it) & Western when you yourself a Malay Muslim?"

1st, Malaysia is multicultural. 2nd, I'm mixed Malay+Pakistani Pashtun.
