Donald Trump has to be the most inept person in history when it comes to matching a liquid foundation to your skin tone.

Yes, you get to have romantic relationships. But, no, you don’t get to force that onto your child because you want to. It is not unreasonable to keep that part of your life separate from them, if that’s what they need to feel their life is stable.

If your child is struggling with your new relationship, help them work through that by being there, talking to them, going to therapy, etc. What is not ok is to move in new people & just expect them to deal with it. Your priority should be your minor child. Stop choosing your wants over them.

Keep seeing tons of posts abt how to force a child to change their mind about a parent’s partner and/or the partner’s kid. You DON’T.

Kids get to have their own feelings. If they don’t bond w/your partner, they don’t. They’re NOT obligated to. & kids absolutely SHLD have a say in who lives w/them.
