Does anyone have, or know where one can find, a copy of the 1935 film of A Midsummer Night's Dream?
there are a few songs that when I listen once, I have to listen over and over again on repeat. βmeet on the ledgeβ, βliar, liarβ, βup with peopleβ, βcloudbustingβ, nick caveβs new one βfrogsβ... this might be top of that list: youtu.be/J5rx4UNmjeo?...

the whole album is a wonder. the original mixes, included on the cd reissue from a few years back, have a bit more oomph. well worth checking out.
i go back to this album again and again. what a run nile rodgers and bernard edwards had, from those killer chic singles through sister sledgeβs βwe are familyβ album to this in a couple of years: m.youtube.com/watch?v=iP0e...
if this single is anything to go by, the forthcoming album by actor samantha morton is going to be special. itβs a strange blend of massive attack, the radiophonic workshop, and the wicker man soundtrack. one for fans of broadcast.
the US version - two series with about 40 episodes in total - on iPlayer is pretty good, Ross. It gets the tone right.
kind of lost interest in Tim Buckley years ago but I picked this off the shelf yesterday and I'm back in love: www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7SU...
this is my favourite podcast. itβs funny, foul-mouthed (obvs) and often very moving. get into it.
business idea: an ITV player but it works.
Andrew Bowie entered parliament as a sensible one nation Tory in 2017. Now heβs peddling conspiracy theories to the reactionary right. My P&J column on MPs debasing themselves for power: www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/opinion/6...
