Most notable aspect of that Liverpool game - beyond the warning for the PL over set-pieces being officiated - was how many bad decisions they made in attack. It felt like almost everything was always wrong, or mis-hit.
Us scoring a goal and the whole team just standing there, as guilty as sin thinking "f**k off have we scored!" has to be the most infuriating thing I've seen in football this year. Who the f**k's drummed that into them??!!

Say what you want about VAR, but that #AVFC goal is exactly why it's needed. That was quite clearly offside. #NUFC had a brilliantly straight line and the linesman still missed Abraham was a yard off...

It was a good performance, we battled and dug out the win, it was the kind of match that like too many times this season, after taking the lead, we’d sit back and concede two and lose. We kept our focus and concentration, Ibou & VVD were excellent
It was nice to see us really dig in and “earn” a victory. Good away performance

Can’t remember Ali having to make a big save, easy ones yes but nothing major, back four solid, mid still look off at times but Macca had his best game for a while. No words for how good Wirtz is. Up top is where we looked in need of something yet we could have still got 3 or 4. Was a good night

So I've seen that there are a few people who believe yesterday's performance was not great. From where I'm sitting, it was arguably our best away league performance. We were really good in all phases barring finishing. Very few complaints on that performance.
Am I wrong?
