The gardening tasks are better on mount I think but others can be slower. I’m sure they wanted to make mounts not entirely better do people don’t feel like the expansion is a requirement to buy. Just my theory ha
I think what they are going for is keeping a pace for the DLC and encouraging you to explore and keep the vibe cozy. Giving you everything immediately and letting you blow through the barriers to the other zones is probably not what they want. I do agree about the tasks on mount.

Have you completed it? I didn’t think an entire mount system that works flawlessly was a cheap implementation.
As of now I’m the same. Just working on leveling Maximus in between things to continue on!
Speedstorm I agree with whole heartedly because wow is it a micro transaction greedy mess. Dreamlight Valley is a hard disagree for me though, two different dev teams within Gameloft that operate very differently lol the valley team is doing a great job imo

From what I’ve played so far, you all have killed it! Great job to the team, the mount gameplay is so smooth and the zones feel so good for riding around in. I don’t want to put the game down! Can’t wait to see more of it! 🔥❤️

I am ashamed to say that even with over 500 hours in the game, my quest list still looks similar to this. I am easily distracted by other in game things to do 😅🤣

Make storage chests and collect everything you can! You will need so many materials as you progress ha. The DLC is so worth it but I would finish the base game before starting the DLC as you will get a bit overwhelmed I think. Just my advice 😊 have fun and welcome to the valley community! ❤️
The feeling of comparison to other people’s valleys is rough so I get that haha. But everyone’s is unique so I just try my best! I hope that correct some Switch things soon, I’m on a handheld PC but my sister would love some Switch improvements.

I always do prep before an expansion so I can’t talk haha. But it’s mainly me finishing up some lingering quests and making new storage space in my designated areas for the new loot! 🤪
