The Sallie House in Atchison, Kansas,was built in the 1860's, and became a paranormal hot spot in the 1990s. Strange occurrences int he home are linked to the spirit of a little girl named Sallie.

Sumner Elementary in Topeka, KS, was built in 1935. In 1854, Linda Brown's family petitioned for her to attend Sumner, sparking, Brown vs. Board of Education. It closed in 1996, and has been decaying since.

McKinley Elementary School in Topeka, Kansas was built in 1907. It was one of four all-black elementary schools in Topeka. After heavy floods in 1951, many students transferred to Buchanan Elementary. McKinley closed in 1954 as the school district desegregated and re-zoned.
