Congressmen Massie (Rep) & Khanna (Dem) introduced this bipartisan resolution in June 2025, the last time Trump struck Iran. It was never voted on. Now we're here again.
The Massie-Khanna War Powers Resolution requires the president to get Congressional approval before engaging in military action. Not a radical idea — a restatement of what the Constitution already says. The Constitution that Trump is ignoring.
Khamenei was a brutal dictator who murdered thousands of his own people. His death is being celebrated by many.
And: Our Constitution does not become optional because we approve of a certain outcome.
Both are true.
No more forever wars.

Massie, the Republican from Kentucky, is now getting “primaried” by Trump (Trump is working to push him out of Congress). That would be a loss; Massie and Khanna are doing important work together.

Only 50% have been released, and the files which are out redact (black out) the names of many people who were emailing about underage girls with a convicted sex offender. These are people the Dept of Justice should investigate.
The names are there. The emails are there. What is the DOJ waiting for?
