Yeah it is all a bit early to speculate but since no bird rights and no salary cap room the exceptions would be their only tool to re-sign him.

I don’t pretend to know what the market would pay him, but hard to imagine a better fit next to curry being available-enough offense juice, plays defense.

Melton most likely opts out(?), and warriors wouldn’t have bird rights(?), so the exception is either used on him or it goes to finding his replacement I suppose.

As someone who follows the Warriors pretty sure a good bit of player participation is about injury _prevention_. Seems like Curry, Draymond for example would play thru some of the issues they sit with if it was The Playoffs.

I do think it is complicated.
Though I wouldn’t really give them more room. They have a clear expectation to meet and have been getting playing time to try to meet it. But have been very inconsistent.
