Had a Mann Co Cap wearing Eureka Effect Engineer in my Competitive TF2 match who only built on last in 5CP. He didn't upgrade his buildings and scored 4 points across 3 rounds.

2011-2012 was when stuff was happening constantly. Especially 2011. There was a biggish update every few months! MVM was 2012 and there was a ton of hype and buildup to that. It was really exciting. In retrospect 2011 was a lot of quantity over quality though. 2015 was a really solid year too.
Today marks 15 years since I first started playing Team Fortress 2. Where did the time go!?

Just saw someone refer to the map Landfall in TF2 as a "new Overwatch type map". A map that came out almost 10 years ago and several months before OW was even released.
I've noticed a growing percentage of the TF2 playerbase has absolutely no idea what they're talking about at any given time.

You know, I would have thought Scout would have made his money selling all that Tom Jones merchandise. It was supposed to be worth a fortune when he died! I am genuinely pretty surprised they didn't go that angle. It felt like they were setting up exactly that when Soldier killed Tom Jones.
