Fairly poor quality picture of the Aurora australis taken from the bay in Melbourne australia. There is a long band of lime green in the night sky across the horizon with purple beams shooting out of it showing strongest towards the centre of the image.

Aurora so strong last night I could see the green with naked eye and my struggling SE camera was able to capture it! So tired now but feel so lucky!
