Of course, the Trump administration and their supporters will understand that statement to describe a grand success. In reality, both statements are succinct summations of the limitations of air power.

I was reminded today that, as good as skating and skiing are for the legs and lungs, the bike requires those things to be used differently.
Further proof that hope is not a strategy.
(Hint: he won't be better, and could well be worse.)
Massively over budget for defence against a threat that was drastically diminished, manned bombers having largely been replaced by ICBMs.
Our industry was not crippled. To this day Canada has the fifth largest aerospace industry in the world.
Sleep deprivation would explain a lot.
Six weeks to cycling season!
All bikes are nice. Some are super-nice.
Not enough. My wife and I come with four bikes. Of course two of them are never going to be left outside the unit we live in, so it's not as bad as it seems at first glance.
From a very long list of great performances I have a soft spot for "Lonesome Dove" in general, and Duvall in particular.
It is true we don’t have enough health care available for mental illness. It may be true that mental illness was a factor in this shooting. The (US) data says mental illness is a factor in just a 3rd of mass shootings (at most), which makes your final question particularly critical.
Real conversation from about 15 years ago.
Me: How long can I expect this refrigerator to last?
Salesman: About 10 years.
M: How about this fancy European one at three times the price?
S: About 10 years.
Longest civil airspace closure since the one after the 9/11 attacks. Decidedly not normal.
"Doctor... It hurts when I do this."
"So don't do that!"
(Old joke, but I am willing to accept it as solid medical advice.)
They'll be the largest prisons in the country, in a country that has more prison than any other country on earth.
It's tricky to do and involved a hat originally.

I think I haven't made my point clear enough. I find it telling that the Conservatives are happy to have members who can join for virtually nothing ($15 annually), but apparently doesn't trust them to vote in a review of the party leader. That does not scream confidence to me.
That 87% of votes cast represents 0.3% of the party membership. Support for Poilievre might be strong in the party, but I find it telling that they chose not to test that in a leadership review.
The only rigged vote in Canada
"We were winning until they counted the votes!"
I disagree. Bovino may get lightly toss aside, since Trump's loyalty only goes one way, but until there is an actual, visible, permanent, and dramatic reversal of policy, nothing about this can be assumed to be normal.
Ahh, so the ignorance is willful and intentional. Got it.
Again, try to be less obtuse.
Don't be obtuse

(Sorry I'm not a better Canadian, but learning French from an Anglophone in Mississauga in the 1970s didn't result in much of the second language sticking.)
Sympathies. I just replaced my 2011 Volvo C30 with a 2011 Volvo C30 with 50,000 fewer Km. The car is in good shape but getting the instrument panel/menu language changed from French to English was shockingly expensive.
Hardly a major insight. Ford essentially became a niche manufacturer when in 2018 they announced they would be phasing out passenger cars in North America.
I just watched Carney's motorcade go past my house on his return from Davos, and while Trump's “speech” is on. I doubt a 24 hour period on the world stage has ever seen such a contrast in clarity, honesty, and intelligence.
I've got a few years on you, but appreciate the company. I take solace in having just discovered Sam Fender. (Not sure if that means I am still open minded or he is doing something that's a bit of a throwback.)
