I’m not sure how you’re experiencing that. Exp share is 50% exp scaled by level to your party PokΓ©mon that didn’t battle. So you mathematically would still end up with the same dynamic just a smaller gap between your main PokΓ©mon and party PokΓ©mon.

Exp share literally just eliminates the dumb β€œplace a PokΓ©mon as an opener then switch out” mechanic. That’s it.
