The trio of Emily, Christian, and Rick may be my favorite trio in a long time. I don’t care if they were a pregame alliance. Christian is 10/10, Emily isn’t afraid to take big swings, and while Rick is cringy/over the top, his head always seems to be in the right place #Survivor #Survivor50
The last couple seasons felt like they tried to be “morally correct” and say that only good people should be rewarded so if a winner does a bad thing it is justified in the edit or they feel guilty about it. Or paint a loser as a fallen angel when in reality they had no shot (Jonathon, Joe, Rizo)
I’m in the minority but I don’t blame the cast as much as new era editing and Jeff. This just feels like course correcting. In 45/47 the story was Emily and Genivieve were “wrong” to be cutthroat. Joe was shown as a king in 48. Now they aren’t forcing a storyline but letting it happen
Normally I’d be ok with it but there are SO Many of them and only two immunity challenges. There was very little oppurtunity for them to lose. If we had two tribes losing in both of those challenges I’d like it more. Hell, I’d take an individual immunity per tribe just to see who would go home
Why do they insist on making survivor kid friendly? Seeing them get animated is not only entertaining but makes them more real and sympathetic. This was the first moment in two seasons it felt like Joe cared about the game. We also saw Rick’s mask slip back to how he was in EoE. Let them have depth!
So far #Survivor50 has been 10/10 (with exception of the shameless celebrity plug that the woman herself has yet to acknowledge). We are getting a ton of strategy around camp life and most of all, Conflict. We are moving away from Kumbaya #Survivor and the players are embracing that!
I knew it was coming but WHY DID WE HAVE TO SWAP SO SOON!!!?Would Ozzy/Cirie survived over Joe. Would Aubry’s idol flip the tribe or Q flipping in Rizo. We also barely learned anything about the teal tribe. I’m worried they are the yellow tribe of 49 and are just cannon fodder #Survivor #Survivor50
The double edged sword of Joe. Getting rid of him also doesn’t really make sense when Savannah is right there. Happy she went out fighting cause you can’t give an unknown too much runway. She didn’t really have a shot especially with Cirie on your tribe #Survivor #Survivor50
I have a mixed relationship with pregaming cause with this big of a season. No way do you not have pregaming. A lot of these people are just friends. The less in the community you are, the worse off you’re gonna be. It’s unfortunate but you can’t really stop that
It is wild to see back to back Kyle prove he could be a great player against a capable cast while simultaneously Joe proves that he would have been dead meat on any other season besides #Survivor48. He has another free ride to 2nd/3rd place and he is blowing it. #Survivor50 #Survivor
