Why are Traffic Lights Blue in Japan? - JapanUp! magazine Traffic lights in Japan are red, yellow, and blue. Or are they red, yellow, and green? Well…it depends on what you mean by blue and green.

Not all shades of blue dye were available until the 70s!
And in Japan, they still refer to things as being either blue or green but opposite each other. And some Japanese never knew the word for green until the 20th century. japanupmagazine.com/archives/8257

Not a lot of movies hold up from our childhood. Except the Muppet movies during the Jim Henson era. It's interesting how consistently they succeed in making me a kid again.

Today’s walk: I realized that Tacoma is just a short train ride to Federal Way and one 574 bus stop away, so I spent the day exploring Tacoma. Some great shops, a lot of hills, and a snowy start giving way to a beautiful day. 44452 steps, 20.9 miles.

Be honest with them. Ask them how they feel. Have them come up with alternatives that will make them feel better. It's OK for them to let their feelings flow in the moment.

Then take them out for a walk and give them a new toy. They are almost as dumb as humans and they will forget

It's the rare film where EVERY actor slips into their groove and the chemistry is perfect. Every actor. Also the music. And the shots which are a love letter to Brooklyn when it was at it’s grimiest. Sadly, Brooklyn today is a wonderful place and, sigh, would live there if I could.

For pve, an MMO mouse with a 12 button side panel is just about compulsory. Learn your rotations and oh-shit buttons, and it helps to watch a video before any new trial.

For pvp, start snorting adderall, and learn how to self-catheterize. It won't help, but it'll feel like you're taking big steps.

I feel like one song is an insult to the subject of the song: who's going to drive you home tonight?

Friendo, it's in your name.

Instead of being a jerk about it, maybe I dunno, stop singing about it and vroom vroom. Fix the problem you see and quit gaslighting. smh

The covers of three books. Left to right: Gandolfini: Jim, Tony, and the life of a legend, about the late Sopranos actor. The cover shows Gandolfini looking shy, peering offscreen with one unobstructed eye and another that peeks out between the fingers of his right hand.
CENTER: The cover of Cinema Her Way, a coffee table book by Marya E. Gates about female directors. On the cover is actress Michelle Rodriguez as the boxer heroine of Karyn Kusama's sports drama Girlfight, about a woman boxer.
RIGHT David Hockney's painting collection The Arrival of Spring in Normandy, showing a painting of a verdant field. In the background of the field is green grass. in the upper foreground are the branches of a tree sprouting white, cottony buds.

Isn't there a Protestant branch that actually preaches this?
God has a plan but it doesn't involve you. And he doesn't love or even care about you. You're all going to Hell anyway.
See ya next Sunday!

This...is beyond my awake intellect. It has a void which can be filled, yet emptied!
It contains a multitude of shapes and yet also...spaces.
I can't describe more or I WILL GO MAD!
It's writing is alien or by a mad poet from a lost language

In fact, I uninstalled the app before reinstalling it to post this.
I hate you and, despite never having read your posts, judge you based on nothing.
I am so disappointed more people don't think like me. Thankfully, we vote.

This is a good plan, actually. I've been doing this but with more titles and with the game carousel up. So it behooves me to uninstall a bunch and also hide the game library.
