4. Except we're building this on an assumption that's highly suspect at least. The @schoolsweek.bsky.social investigation into what was on EHCPs was hair raising. So much dubious practice.

Private Eye article headlined "Minority representation on TV causes outrage" with body text commenting that Reform MPs are only 0.7% of the house of commons and yet are over-represented on the BBC all the time.
Genuinely brilliant from Private Eye.
I often have a few children who look appalled and ask me why on earth I have subjected them to the horror, then inevitably ask me to read it again!
Youβre very welcome! They are fantastic books.
If I've ever taken the time to reply to a request from you for advice on here (or the other place) - and you have read Primary Reading Simplified - please consider *reposting* this post and giving the book a quick rating (or even a review) from where you bought it.
Happy to give a positive review - I love your books and they have both enhanced my teaching and made it more enjoyable.
UPDATE
The richest 10 people in the world have now lost $63.4 billion today.
Musk has lost $20.6 billion.
Sure, there's still lots of nonsense out there, but my opinion is that we are living in an education golden age. Exciting and evidence based approaches to T&L, groundbreaking resourcing, innovative approaches to CPD. What more could you want?
We are blessed.
"A Real Pain" is soooo good. A perfect little film. Beautifully written. Wonderfully cast. Kieran Culkin is as good as he always is. Loved it.
Say what you like about Friends Reunited - at least you didn't have to be fretting about whether you were funding an attempt to build a new Reich.

As I've argued Britain is unusually good at integration and it's something we should be proud of, while acknowledging where there is still work to do.
Communication of pupil-level strategies is a fundamental part of the SENDCO role and is an essential part of a whole-school approach. So what is the way forward, in terms of individualised strategies, so that all children can thrive?

Recently discovered the @schoolsweek.bsky.social podcast. Superb! Two that Iβve enjoyed so far:
1) This interview with Bridget Phillipson and @fcdwhittaker.bsky.social is really thoughtful and interesting. I particularly enjoyed the sections on teacher recruitment and SEND.
Ohh wow. A third-grade student wrote this with one of my poetry prompts, and I LOVE it.
One of the things that keeps me going back to Twitter is that I get fairly regular DMs on there asking me for advice about reading.
Just to be clear: I am more than happy for people to DM on here for the same reason.
