#nolasky There's an Election tomorrow, March 14th! If you live in Gentilly, New Orleans East, parts of the French Quarter, Marigny, Bywater, Lower 9, Arabi, Chalmette, Meraux, or Violet be sure to head to the polls. It's a runoff so every vote will count! I'm supporting my friend Kenn Barnes.

Getting a pitch turned down always hurts.
Getting one turned down by a hyperlocal and very small weekly hurts a bit more.
Any #nolasky publications interested in an editorial on Northshore moviegoing and the current theatrical desert in the area?

"The Georgetown 272: The Journey" tells the story of 272 enslaved people sold in New Orleans in 1838 and why it still matters to about 4,000 descendants.

Somebody made a video about taking the bus from the airport in New Orleans down to CBD for $1.25, it went viral and while I hope more people utilize it, the block is hot lol. RTA may have to add additional service.

Could your monthly sanitation fee increase? And what would twice a week pickup cost the city? We just got a clearer picture:

Louisiana has to legalize cannabis and tax it to get us out of this billion dollar deficit thatโs coming
What are we waiting for at this point?
Letโs have an open and free marketplace and just be done with it.
We are avoiding the inevitable.

Gov. Landry and state lawmakers have moved quickly in recent years to overhaul Louisianaโs tax code and propose constitutional changes that voters later rejected. @theadvocatebr.bsky.social's editorial board urges state leaders to slow down this #lalege session. www.theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/...

Voters with no party alignment can choose whether they vote in the Republican or Democratic primary, but they have to stay with that party for all the races on the ballot and canโt switch for the potential June 27 runoff.
Voters who are registered with a minor political party wonโt be able to vote in the primary elections on May 16 or June 27 at all.
#nolasky if you are registered as anything other than Democrat, Republican, or No Party you will not be able to vote in the closed party primary for Senate, Congress, PSC, or BESE. If you're registered Green Party, Libertarian, Independent you canโt vote. www.newsfromthestates.com/article/loui...
