For being messy and unorganised. And that's actually not true because I'm a very neat and organised person when my brain has the energy to do all the daily tasks.
But when it's between a basic necessity like food or toilet or cleaning the dishes, the dishes can suck it.

No, they are horrified about the state of my depression house.
It's still a big taboo in many families when you struggle with mental health. Letting others see how much I suffer is a hard thing for me because I was cussed out as a child

Life Update:
I was able to return to my home 24h after my surgery.
I had the best night of sleep and the pain has subsided to a comfortable ache.

My family is unhappy with me but my mental wellbeing is more important than their hurt pride.

I had my operation this morning, everyone had a very good time because I went in smiling and came out happy because I would return 2 hours before lunch and they didn't let me est for 2 hours after waking up.
It hrts niw like hell but no longer sharp pain and complications seem to have vanished too

3 hours and I'm back!
The staff is having a blast because I was hyper and happy to go and I'm hyper and happy to come back in time for lunch 🤪

Exactly! We used to have a record player at home because my mother collected Vinyls and cassettes but she stored the Vinyl records in the attic when the record player broke and sadly most of them wrapped 🫢

I had my own cassettes and burned CDs that we made ourselves. But I left them when I moved.

The audio quality is really good for such a small thing. And I had to do my #BTS album justice and play it first because it had to endure years of being played in my very old laptop 😅

Now I will have to dust off my old burn CDs!!!

My first birthday present arrived early!
It's a wall CD player and I'm in love work it. I'm getting back into owning CDs and Vinyl records because music subscriptions are getting expensive and you don't own anything.

There is also something calming about popping in a CD and browsing the songs.

Excited for you to give it more space for you. I started this year doing stuff that I did when I was a teenager and it's making me feel better bit by bit!

Sadly I got fucked over and spent the better portion of my Saturday afternoon and night at the ER.
And I need surgery urgently because my lower back clocked out.
No joke when they tell you not to lift with your back but knees.

Hobbies that require your to focus on that one task: knitting, crochet, paint by numbers or coloring, doing puzzle or basic PC game where you walk around and collect or whack NPCs.

For real, going somewhere where you can sit or lie down for a few hours (seep would be of course best) without guilt that you are recharging. Sounds simple but is hella hard.
Also doing something that would get your happiness hormones going but not exaust you physically does wonders.

I need to register at neurosurgery on Tuesday as they don't think that I can wait the standard 2 year waiting period ( I have unfunny complications).

I need an operation ASAP but my anxious ass cares about the mess at home.
Luckily my neurosurgeon won the debate of doctors and I get to sleep in my own bed for now.

I'm a breath away from a "mental crisis" because of that mentality "I have to carry on because I always have and can't count on anyone".
So this is your warning to slow down and try to find a way to rest because your body will pick it eventually and it will be more inconvenient than you doing it now

Got a power outage that wasn't planned. The funny thing is that it turned back on for a sec and then went out again.
